The 2019+ Sprinter Van Tire Carrier mounts to the back of your van and is hands-down the best spot for mounting your spare tire. The Sprinter rear door tire carrier frees up valuable space underneath your van, so you can add water tanks or an auxiliary fuel tank where the stock spare tire was stowed. The rear door tire carrier also makes it possible to store a larger-than-stock tire which is important if you've upgraded to oversized tires for better off-road performance.

Each Mercedes Sprinter tire carrier is made from lightweight and durable aluminum construction, and includes an adjustable lock rod designed to accommodate different wheel sizes.

Installing your Sprinter spare tire carrier is quick, easy, and requires basic hand tools and drilling. After years of R&D we’ve found that drilling is required if you want a sturdy and reliable rear door tire carrier without any compromises or unappealing design features.

Adjustable Lock Rod for different wheels (Compatible with traditional hitch lock)
Fits all tire sizes up to 285 without any alterations. Please note that tires over 275/70R17 may occasionally trip the sensor in the rear light assembly
Only compatible with 180 degree hinges
Includes 14x1.5 wheel studs, 65mm length (can accept up to a 15mm spacer) - 10.9 grade hardness in a black zinc finish

We’ve been installing FVC components on clients rigs for a while now and haven’t had a single complaint! Mad props to there engineers!

Sprinter Tire Rack

The rack arrived at my home very well packaged and undamaged. The build quality and finish is great. Figuring out how to get the lower trim panel off the inside of the door took a little digging on the Sprinter Tech forum but turns out is very easy and does not require any special tools. A little information trim panel removal in your otherwise good instructions would be helpful. Installation was easy but needed to be careful not to oversize the inner hole when using the supplied step drill. I ended up needing to buy a shorter step drill so as to not oversize the inner hole through the door. Great product and will be adding the FVC passenger side storage cabinet soon.

Almost perfect install

"22 entegra launch. Perfect installation using the .pdf instructions and had watched video. 1. The provided step bit was metric, the instructions had hole enlarged to 5/8" SAE. Suggest clarify the correct metric value so no second guessing.
2. Took a little more than 2.5 hrs to install.
Overall 10 out of 10 for the final result. Love it. Next is to buy a rack and storage box for passenger rear door!

Great Product

We received our tire rack 4 days after ordering, and installed it today. Woke up to 24⁰ so had to wait for the temp to come up a bit. We are in our late sixties and had absolutely no problem with installation. Instructions were so very clear, both PDF and YouTube. Highly recommend!
