Easily step into your van with our Transit side steps, custom-designed for your Ford adventure van. The side steps give your van that off-road look, sit tight to the van's body to leave as much ground clearance as possible, and are easy to install.

Made with heavy-duty steel tubing, these Transit side steps are built to last the life of your van. The dimpled pattern gives you just the right amount of traction and is comfortable to step and stand on. They provide a nice, wide platform for your feet to land on with the passenger step covering both the front door and the sliding door, and the driver's side step is a full 35 inches wide. Everything is coated in a durable powder coat, and the most corrosion-resistant hardware we could find is included to withstand harsh environments.

The side steps are a simple DIY install with all the required hardware to mount them in the factory step location, using factory studs and threaded holes wherever possible. They leave room for larger tires and mud flaps and are directly compatible with our Transit Side Ladder - High Roof and Transit Side Ladder - Mid Roof without any modifications.

No matter what you dub them - side steps, nerf bars, rock sliders, or running boards - these versatile additions to your van will enhance your experience!

Solid

A little pricey but are soild boards once installed.. They could set out another inch or two to have more step.. passenger side was fairly easy as factory studs are used, have tap factory nut hole with supply Tap.. only two holes to drill and use the supplied rivnuts, YOU WILL NEED THE SPECIAL TOOL FOR INSTALLING RIVNUTS.. driver side has front factory studs but the remaining brackets will need some drilling and rivnuts installed.. I had access to a lift so it was easier.. both sides took about 2 1/2 hours not counting assembly of boards

Transit side steps

Best sidesteps available, I’ve been searching for 2 years and finally found the best functional side steps from, Flatline. Another company has some similar ones but these are the perfect size, not too big not too small and also serve as a frame bottoming out protector as the construction one piece undercarriage from wheel well to wheel well! I love driving by other vans that have funky steps, lol! Thanks FLATLINE!

Very nice gear, great product

Assembled the sideboards and had them waiting for a nice day to install. That happened today, and the install went fine. Great recommendation on the rivnut tool as well. Went on without a hitch and look great. Wife is super pleased about the extra step getting in and out.

Great steps for the price

The steps are working fine and very solid. I do think they could stick out maybe another 1-2 inches but they do what we need and get us in the van.

Perfect Solution

Designed to FIT. This is the perfect solution for my Transit 250 highroof. Super easy install and tough quality product. Note: I found that 7/16" holes fit the nutserts provided vs the 17/32" hole recommended.
