Looking for a durable roof rack that adds more lounge space to enjoy your Transit van, transport gear on the roof, and install it yourself at home? Then our Transit Safari Rack is your answer.

The Transit Safari Rack comes ready to install at home with standard hand tools, and no forklift is required. The rack has removable decking panels that eliminate the need to make extra cut outs for fans and A/Cs, with L-track mounting points on every panel for securing extra gear on the roof of your Transit. Each size is offered as a classic basket-style front or a drop-down front that's perfect for mounting off road lights. All of the Safari Racks have an integrated wire chase channel around the perimeter of the rack for a clean install.

Awning brackets to attach a wall-mount style awning to the rack are included. We recommend the Fiamma F45 awning for its superior design and long-lasting quality, but other wall-mount awnings are also compatible.

Awesome rack. I was super nervous during install because the maxx air fan that came on a '23 transit trail was 1" too close to the suggested distance for the 3rd cross bar. The amount of adjustment in the decking panels allowed for this offset so no modifications needed. Absolutely speaks to the design attention to detail.

Safari rack bliss

Hey I just wanted to say thank you to FVC for making such a killer rack set up for my ford transit. I could not be happier. Delivery time was unreal and installation was very straight forward. I was able to install the rack by myself. And it looks amazing. Big shout out to Silas for helping me figure out what works best for my van. I highly recommend FVC. Best looking rack on the market. Great Way to Make Additional Outdoor Space!

We got our FVC Safari Roof Rack almost 6 months ago now and are nothing but pleased with the quality of this product! Everything about it is finished, durable, and above all comfortable and easy to use. We mounted solar panels on top of the roof rack spanning over our roof fans and it leaves plenty of room for lounging during our dinners and sunsets. It provides a great space for kicking back and relaxing outside in crowded places when you might not have room right outside your van. Or if you need that little extra boost of height to see over something to catch the view. love love love and cannot recommend this splurge enough :)

An awesome expansion of living and utility space

We installed the safari rack and ladder at my friend's warehouse utilizing their forklift and warehouse space which was very helpful. We've already used the ladder for a couple camping trips and we use it frequently for sporting events for my kids. Sitting on the roof is AMAZING and you get a nice breeze and view compared to sitting on the ground. The rack and ladder essentially expanded our living area!
