Awesome rear platform. There was a slight hiccup during install, but FVCO got back to me super quick and got me taken care of! Definitely going to purchase other items from them.
This install was actually under two hours as stated in the instructions. Usually my projects have a hiccup and end up being two to three times longer then expected. The templates made locating the mounting holes easy. The hardest part was the door backer. Before tightening the bolts on the hinge brackets, I made sure to install the bolt through the platform, through the door and backer. Watching the explorist.life video also helped.
Took me about an hour (with my neighbor) to install. Super easy to put it on. The paper templets made the hole locations super easy. I much rather the unit to the Aluminess unit - the size of the panel gives you more restate to locate your gear. It is not an inexpensive purchase, but once you have your rack you can appreciate the time it takes to design, test, and produce such a quality product!
Great piece of kit. It took an hour to fit and is really well thought out for additional strength ing within the door. Ready for our next road trip.
