Our Sprinter Van Rear Bumper upgrades the look of your van while adding durability; all without affecting ground clearance or interfering with any OEM sensors. Our Rear Bumper features a snug fitment that follows the contours of your van. It is designed to be clear of the rear doors and maintains the factory departure angle, and compliments our Sprinter Front Bumper and Sprinter Rear Plate Step.

Parking sensor bezels make it easy to transfer your OEM sensors and wiring harness with a simple snap-in installation. Blind spot assist sensors are integrated in the design of the bumper, retaining full functionality. Supplemental lighting options include two cutouts for adding rear/reverse lights and several holes, and are slotted for off-road lighting wire management. For a perfect fit, we suggest a set of the Baja Designs S2 SAE LED Pod Light Pair.

The bumper is constructed from aluminum to keep it lightweight, and is installed with steel brackets for a secure and solid connection to the frame - the total weight is just under 45 pounds. The durable black powder coat will look great for years, unlike plastic bumpers that can fade quickly.

This Sprinter Rear Bumper can be installed on vans with or without a factory hitch. It is compatible with some aftermarket hitches as well. Installation takes several hours and we recommend having two people to lift the bumper into place.

OEM SENSOR FRIENDLY

The Sprinter Van Rear Bumper is designed with ABS Park sensor bezels to ensure OEM blind spot and park sensors properly function.

ADD REVERSE LIGHTS

Improve night time visibility with a pair of Baja Designs S2 SAE or S2 Sport Auxiliary lights. The Sprinter Rear Bumper has two cutouts that fit these perfectly, along with plenty of places to zip tie wires and keep them out of harm’s way.

Nice bumper but not comptiable with JT7 and JA7 blind spot feature

I recently purchased this bumper and, overall, it’s a really well-made product—but unfortunately, it didn’t work out for my 2025 Sprinter 2500AWD with JA7 and JT7 feature.

First, the positives: the build quality is excellent. The materials feel durable, and the finish is clean and professional. It definitely looks like it could handle tough use, and the design is solid—especially if you’re looking for something more heavy-duty than the stock plastic bumper. Installation seemed straightforward in theory, and the included hardware was decent.

However, the biggest issue is compatibility. Despite appearing close to fitting, it ultimately wasn’t designed for the 2025 Sprinter platform. That model year introduced changes like updated sensor placements (such as Side Guard Assist), which can make older or slightly mismatched bumpers incompatible. Unable to return the product as i have already insdtalled on my sprinter. Eventually I had to remove and reinstall the stock bumper. Hoping their R&D team can come up with a solution for the blind spot inoperative error.

Nice bumper, but…

After receiving the rear bumper for my Sprinter, I discovered that not purchasing the optional backup lights leaves two large, exposed openings. When I contacted FVC, they informed me that they don’t offer filler plates and that I would need to fabricate my own. For the price of this bumper, I expected a complete solution regardless of whether the optional lights were included.
