Our Transit Van Low Pro Roof Rack for the 148" Mid Roof model is a durable and lightweight roof rack at an affordable price. This rack has all the versatility needed to mount gear and other accessories.

We redesigned the landing pads used to mount the rack in March of 2022 for a lower profile - Now it's even more robust and hugs the roofline of the Transit better. They’re created with formed 12GA 304L stainless steel with dual flanges and a central mounting point, and are designed to distribute the weight to the strongest points on the roof. We also include an aluminum front wind fairing with the rack, which helps deflect the wind and keeps things lightweight.

This roof rack has all the versatility you need to mount your accessories, and the adjustable crossbars can adjust forwards & backwards to accommodate fans or an AC unit. The crossbars are standard 10-series extrusion and 80/20 compatible with drop-in hardware slots, so bolting up accessories like solar panels, light bars, or MaxTrax traction boards is simple.

The side rails and crossbars are constructed from lightweight aluminum and powder-coated black. The footers and hardware are stainless steel, and the footers are designed to bolt directly to the factory Ford Transit roof holes for a straightforward installation. The rubber footer gaskets and rubber sealing washers keep the roof of your van watertight.

Transit 148" Mid Roof Low Pro Rack w/Light Bar Compatible Fairing

Select this option to install lighting on the fairing. The light bar compatible fairing has pre-cut holes for easy installation of lighting and is designed to fit most 50” LED light bars.

The Baja Designs ONX6 50" Arc LED Light Bar fits perfectly on this fairing, but not mandatory. Off road lights and other 50” light bars are also compatible.
This selection does not include a light bar.

FVC SIDE LADDER COMPATIBLE

The Transit Side Ladder bolts directly to the side of the Low Pro Roof Rack. The side ladder features 1.25” aluminum round tube with formed and dimpled aluminum steps. The double kink of our ladder follows the lines of the Transit van for a sleek look.

FIAMMA F45S COMPATIBLE

The Fiamma F45S bolts directly to our rack, so there's no need for drilling our cutting. We designed our Transit roof rack with the awning in mind. There's no gap between the top of your van and the bottom of your awning that would allow wind and rain in.

EASILY MOUNT YOUR ROOFTOP ACCESSORIES

The crossbars on the Low Pro Roof Rack are 80/20 compatible aluminum crossbars. You can move them anywhere to accommodate mounting solar panels, gearboxes, and other rooftop accessories. And with drop-in hardware slots, you can mount gear and accessories without disassembling the rack.

Solo female install FVCO

Just finished installing the Low Pro rack on my mid roof Transit myself and it was much easier than I was anticipating. The rack is sturdy, well-built, and and I'm proud that I did it myself and saved that precious, hard-earned installation $$$. FVCO products are shoulders above eTrailer!!! They also have great customer service support with questions, which I had. One thing not mentioned on the installation video was caulking around the feet. I used butyl tape around the screw holes and caulked the feet with 3M 4200 marine adhesive. Maybe overkill, but didn't want to take a chance with leaks. Next install will be their side ladder. Thanks, FVCO!

The fit and finish on this is very impressive. Install wasn't too bad, and the rack is very well built. The attention to detail is very high with the company.

LowPro roof rack, Mid roof 148"

Installation was quite easy, seems to be sold and quiet. Gas mileage was not dramatically affected. Looks great but it does sit quite a bit higher than I thought it would.
