Low Pro Roof Rack - Transit 148" High Roof Extended

Regular price $1,550.00 Save $-1,550.00

The Transit Low Pro Roof Rack is a premium quality roof rack at an affordable price. The low profile design, modular crossbars, and lightweight build have made the Low Pro the most popular option on the market for Transit owners.

All parts are constructed of high-quality aluminum and the hardware is stainless steel, so there's no chance of rust. The crossbars are standard 10-series aluminum, so bolting up accessories like solar panels and light bars is fast and simple. The rubber gaskets and sealing washers keep the roof of your van watertight, and the mounting footers bolt directly into the existing Transit roof holes.

The Low Pro Roof Rack comes flat packed in a box, and it's delivered straight to your doorstep for free to the lower 48.

Low Pro Roof Rack - Transit 148" High Roof Extended

Ordering was easy and the rack shipped quickly. Being modular, it was easy to install and looks great. It's a bit of a challenge to get the rails initially attached to the first mount when working alone but after the first few were done, the rest went quickly. Looks good and with the front faring, there is no wind noise at all. Thrilled with the product!

Roof rack is great. Install was straight forward.

The rack itself is really solid. I highly recommend the front fairing too. Took me a while to juggle around Max fans and solar panel sizes to figure out where to secure the cross rails. That was mainly due to a combination of the Transit internal ribs and panel sizes. Please note that the deck area has four ribs plus another aluminum channel support member - you can still feel the ribs flex a bit.

Perfect roof rack for Transit High Roof Extended with solar, fans or A/C

I spent so many hours researching and deciding between various roof racks, what would fit best with my yet-to-be installed vent, A/C and solar all on my roof. Ultimately I decided that I needed flexibility and it was too big of a risk to buy a rack with a fixed opening for the vent and A/C. There were too many variables. I exchanged several emails with FVC before I decided to purchase and they were always very informative, patient and helpful.

I am so glad I choose their low-pro roof rack! It was easy to install following the instructions on their website. As is common with the Ford Tansit, I had to use a dremel to make a wider opening on the van itself on about half of the roof mount locations. Once I could get the bolt to line up correctly, the install went very smooth. To be clear - this hiccup was a Ford issue, not a FVC issue.

The rack is solid, modular and allows me to organize roof-mounted items however I want. I have the fairing and side ladder and they all fit, function and look great together!

Customer service with FVC is second-to-none, and I am very glad that I choose their high quality products!

What an awesome rack. Looks great! Easy to install and well laid out. Creates some wind noise but add on fairing should fix.

5 star product 4.5 on options and instructions

Received and mounted up my new Flat line rack on a 2020 ford transit 350 hd DRW ext. over all and as the tile said the product is 5 stars no real issues and everything was as advertised, shipped promptly and looks good. My only feedback which is as much on me as it is on flatline is that it would be nice to have a little more guidance on getting the user to stop and think about the layout of the rack and mounting of the accessories before the installation. id also love to see them offer more 80/20 accessories and mount options on their site as i have had to go out and research and figure out additional resources to work out my configuration and mounting options. Id also add a request for a fairing option with light bar mounting options as an accessory id like to buy. Again the rack it self was 5 star, really easy to assemble and followed exactly their basic instructions to a T. i also mounted up a fiamma 45s 400 awning, super easy fit and all. I will tell others that that seems to be the biggest you can get on this rack but it still won’t allow it to come forward enough to truly cover the edge of the slider opening.

FVC Side Ladder Compatible

The FVC Transit Side Ladder bolts straight onto the pill slots on the side of the low pro roof rack. Installation is simple, and the side ladder breaks into two pieces for free shipping straight to your door.

The side ladder is made from 1.25” aluminum round tube with formed aluminum steps. The double kink of our ladder follows the lines of the Transit van for a sleek look.

Fiamma F45S Compatible

There’s no need for any drilling or cutting. Our Low Pro Roof Rack allows you to bolt the Fiamma F45S directly into your rack. We designed our Transit roof rack with the awning in mind, so there’s no gaper gap between the top of your van and the bottom of your awning that would allow wind and rain through.

Strong enough to stand on. Deck it how you like it.

Our racks are designed to give you the option to put whatever decking you’d like on it. The crossbars are designed to hold your decking of choice and you (We don’t recommend standing on one bar though.) Don’t care about decking? Use the bars to mount a storage box, solar panels, or other accessories.

Easily Mount Your Solar Panels

The crossbars on the low pro roof rack are 10 series anodized aluminum crossbars, and you can move them anywhere to accommodate mounting solar panels. Don’t have solar panels yet? We recommend checking out some of the kits our friends at Zamp Solar have.
