The Sprinter Rear Plate Step isn’t just a convenient way to step in the van, but the aluminum makes it lightweight and corrosion-resistant. The stainless steel brackets mount directly to the side of the factory tow hitch and leave room for using recovery shackles and the hitch itself.

Factory step is great, but why wouldn't you want a platform that covers both sides of the rear. This product was super easy to install, less than 15 mins, super strong, even has attachments for recovery. Low profile even with factory bumper, aesthetically on point, strong, another solid addition by FVCO. Cheers.
I just received the Flatline Rear step this afternoon. I just installed it on my Sprinter and it looks terrific. It installed quickly without any drilling or grinding needed. It is lightweight but very sturdy. I think it is an exceptional addition to my van build.
