Sprinter Side Ladder Installation Guide (Video)

Our Sprinter Side Ladder is a popular option for Sprinter 144 and 170 high roof van owners. In this post, we'll go over the fast and simple installation process for installing the side ladder. 

!! Before Your Start !!

You must have roof tracks on your Sprinter van in order to install this ladder. If your van didn't come from the factory with tracks, you can purchase aftermarket roof tracks. 

Step by Step Ladder Installation (From The Video)

Step 1: Assemble all the ladder pieces together. 

Step 2: Slide the pucks that we've provided into the factory roof rails. 

Step 3: Position the ladder where you'd like it on the side of your van. 

Step 4: Tightly screw down the top bolts. 

• !! If you are doing this solo, place a blanket around the steps to protect your van. The other option is to have someone hold it near the step. !!

Step 5: Loosely screw the bottom plate onto ladder. 

Step 6: Position bottom plate and tighten down the screws. 

Step 7: Use self drilling sheet metal screws to secure the plate to the pinch seam.
