The Transit DIY Bed Mount Kit is for the DIY-er that wants to make their own bed platform panels while using our bed mounting brackets. We offer a complete Transit Bed System that comes with panels, but our customers asked for a way to create their own platform while using our sturdy and quality-made mounting brackets, so this product was born.

The kit includes our brackets specifically designed for 2015 and newer Transit 148" High Roof and Mid Roof cargo vans, and hardware to install them. The brackets allow you to mount your bed 33"-42" high so you can choose what works best for you. The brackets are made from heavy-duty steel and powder-coated black for a sleek and professional look.

COMPATIBILITY

  • 2015+ Ford Transit 148" High Roof and Mid Roof Vans. Not compatible with the Transit 148 High Roof Extended or any Passenger van model.
  • 2023+ Ford Transit Trail

Great! Minor changes could help.

These worked well and the bed install is nice & solid. I would recommend setting aside the finicky, small & short rivets that come with the brackets and replacing with longer 1/4” larger-flanged steel rivets of the same diameter. They’re a bit more arm/hand work with the rivet gun on the install for sure, but they also work better & should be more reliable long-term.

Perfect Bed Mount Option

I've installed this on my new Transit and it works perfectly! You're able to pretty easily DIY install some wood struts for the bed into the brackets. Will be buying more gear from FVC for sure!

Bed Mount Kit

Installed on a 2018 Ford Transit. Excellent quality and easy to install. They need to include longer rivets to span some of the gaps.
