Maximize space and flexibility in your van with the Adventure Van Solo Bed. The Solo bed is a space-saving solution that gives you the freedom to maximize cargo space for all your adventure gear – even motorcycles and other large gear. Stack up to 4 in the van for a bunk bed system that folds up and out of the way, or add single beds where it’s most convenient.

The Adventure Van Solo Bed is sized to fit adults or kids, with a 74” long by 23” wide bed platform. It's constructed from durable yet lightweight 3/16 aluminum, with laser cut-outs for proper bed ventilation, and finished with a durable powder coat. The cut-outs also serve as a convenient place for strapping gear to the bottom side of the bed.

Each Solo Bed comes with heavy-duty hinges utilizing our custom bushings that are built to last and made for smooth operation, along with L-Track studs that make for simple and secure mounting to vertical L-Track. Adjustable cam straps with L-track anchors are also included for securing the bed in the stowed position, and can also be used for using it as a hanging bed. Prefer to have a bed with legs underneath? Select the Solo Bed with Legs option, which includes our adjustable fold-out legs that allow a bed height of 13.4” to 20.4” off the ground, as well as the necessary hardware to install them on the bed with no drilling required.

Installation and removal of the Solo Bed is quick and easy with the included L-track studs and cam straps. The Solo Bed is designed to work seamlessly with our Sprinter Vertical L-track and Bed Brackets, Adventure Wagon kits, or equivalent bed structure systems. Alternatively, the Solo Bed can be done as a DIY install directly to your interior walls with adequate support.

A great bed for an adult or kid -- and storage too

I've been DIY building my van since 2021 for use as a backcountry/winter "bed on wheels." Over the summer the kids usually tent camp while the adults sleep in the van. Storage space is still an issue when you have a couple more humans and it would be cool to have the kids sleep inside with us and extend our camping months into the fall and spring. They are getting better at snow sports too so winter camping is around the corner. FVCO's bunk was mostly what I needed. I wish they had a bunk that was as long as the adult hanging solo bed but only as wide as the kid version since I need two. The adult version hangs well into the middle of the van. Hanging two (one for each kid) isn't feasible but I'm working on a 2.0 plan for that.

All in all, another great product from FVCO. It looks great, it feels great and is very practical. I like things in the van to be able to serve at least two purposes. This one can be a bed and/or shelf-storage when we need it. It also has so much access to hang hooks, cords, things, etc. Although, just like the safari roof rack we have, I wish it had the same L-Track holes throughout the middle of the rack/bed as it does on the edges and sides!

Little one loves it!

Our little one loves having her own spot in the van. She looks forward to heading in once it gets dark. The platform is super sturdy, high quality. We cut an IKEA mattress to size and she says it is super comfy, doesn’t want to sleep on the ground camping ever again!
Best story: after the first night camping, she sat up in the bed and said “Who wants to know how to hold a chicken?”

Solid, Craftsman Aluminum Bunk

High marks to Flatline for making a quality bunk! Our family has the bed and bunk, and both are extremely functional and well made. L-Track fittings create a number of anchor points for hanging the bed as well as hanging gear from the bunk. The bunk is solid for sleeping, but still light enough to hang by one adult. Very impressed.
