The Sprinter Van Murphy Bed is the ultimate solution for those who refuse to compromise between comfort and functionality. This space-saving solution transforms your van’s garage space into a versatile storage system and sleeping space that adapts to your needs. The Sprinter Murphy Bed System maximizes your van’s interior space with multiple functions and features. The table-side cabinet provides extra counter space with a flip-up countertop to access the chest-style storage compartment underneath. The countertop also folds out to create a standing desk, dinner table, or workstation in your camper van.

The bedside cabinet features a built-in overhead cabinet with an open face design for quick access to essentials when the bed is deployed. Molle panel storage on the bed’s underside keeps gear secure whether the bed is stowed or deployed. Below the stowed bed, a heavy-duty drawer with soft-close hinges and push-lock latch provides ample storage space and operates smoothly.

Storage compartments in each cabinet are large enough to serve as electrical cabinets or house a complete power system and accommodate 24-gallon wheel-well style water tanks. For maximum storage potential, additional molle panels come included for each side wall of the bed and are optional to install. 

The Sprinter Murphy Bed System is designed for sleeping east-to-west with flares, creating a 60” by 79.4” bed. To accommodate different interior layouts, it can be installed to leave 33” to 36” of available space in between the cabinets, with 35.5” of available height underneath the bed when deployed. Gas struts make deploying and stowing the bed system effortless, and the custom-fitted Sprinter Murphy Bed Mattress and inserts can fit behind the stowed bed.

Constructed from durable aluminum and carbonized bamboo that matches our galleys and Sprinter upper cabinets, the Sprinter Murphy Bed System is built for lasting performance without the warping and moisture issues common with wood construction. The aluminum construction keeps the weight down while maintaining exceptional strength.

Gas struts make the bed platform feel weightless to stow and lower, allowing you to convert your sleeping area to a living space in seconds. The cavity behind the bed platform fits the mattress and bedding out of sight and out of the way. When you're ready for bed, the struts gently lower the bed with minimal effort for a nearly queen-sized bed that sleeps East-to-West.

Murphy Bed is a game changer!

I absolutely love this bed system. It completely transformed how I can use my van. With the bed folded up, I suddenly have a huge amount of garage space — enough to roll my dirtbike inside — or I can flip out the table and have a full setup for cooking right in the van.

The storage is next-level. The cabinets hold everything I need for trips with my wife and daughter, plus all of our gear and toys, without ever running out of room. I even fit my entire electrical system inside the storage compartments, which saved me from building a separate solution. The big drawer has been a game-changer for organizing all my kitchen supplies.

When it’s time to sleep, it couldn’t be easier — one push of a button and the bed folds down smoothly and effortlessly. The bed itself feels sturdy and comfortable, and the whole system makes my 144 feel as spacious and versatile as a 170.
