Because the Sprinter Headliner Shelf uses existing factory holes and hardware, there’s no need for drilling any new holes into your van. We include some additional hardware for bolting the shelf down to the brackets, but the rest of the hardware is already in your van.
Most people can install this in under 10 minutes with a helping hand, and we’ve also seen plenty of people install it by themselves. Watch the installation video featured above for reference.
Everyone knows the headliner area is typically the biggest waste of space in the new Sprinter vans. Solve that problem and gain an ample amount of extra storage space above the driver and passenger area for blankets, gear, maps, or whatever else you need for your adventures.
Don’t worry about gearing flying around your van when you hit the trails. Strategically placed L-track compatible tie-down points and a lip on the edge of the rack to keep all your valuables safe and secure even when the roads get rough.

I chose this headliner storage because the L track mounts and the sleekness of the product. By far the best one I have come across. Easy installation and looks very sleek. Just that much more storage for things like blankets and window covers. Thanks, guys, for a great product.
…and super easy to install. Like everything else I’ve purchased from FVCO, the headliner shelf is high quality, a clean design, and really a nice addition to my van. And it took - maybe - 10 minutes to install. I'm using it to store all of my window coverings - out of the way and quick/easy access.
The shelf from flatline is an amazing addition to my van. The install was easy. The YouTube video made the install flawless. I have a 2015 van and was unable to mount the brackets under the plastic due some plastic molding on the backside. Didn’t matter either way. Install was painless and I am not considered handy.
This is a nice headliner shelf. Almost like it isn’t there until you need it to be. Plenty of room for storage and the mounting points are great.
My one point of enhancement. As is the shelf can be a bit “rattlely” and things can slide around. I bought a yard of headliner felt and lined the shelf using headliner spray glue. All problems solved. Highly recommend you consider adding that.
Love the extra storage. Easier to install with another person for sure.
