The Promaster Rear Door Storage Platform combines superior construction with unmatched versatility and significantly expands your gear-carrying capacity to mount storage boxes, bikes, skis, snowboards, MaxTrax, and more.

We’ve designed the Promaster Rear Door Platform for ease of use and long-lasting durability. Constructed with an aluminum round tube frame, mounting plate, and stainless steel structural brackets, this gear carrier is the most robust and versatile Promaster-specific option on the market. The sizable mounting surface sits flush with the frame and has a combination of patterned ½” and ⅜” mounting holes and slots for endless mounting capabilities.

The Promaster Van Rear Door Platform keeps your van looking good with the platform sitting tight to the van, but leaves ample space behind it for access. To prevent gear mounted on the platform from swinging into the side of your van, we also include a door strap so you can set the maximum distance the door opens.

Installation can be done in under 90 minutes and only requires one drill point to the door - After years of R&D, we’ve perfected a simple installation process that only requires one exterior hole in the door. This mounting point to the door features our dual-action silicone dampener that absorbs impact in both directions to protect your van - a first in the adventure van industry.

Great quality & easy to install

I am a big fan of the quality of these racks along with the massive amount of space that allows me to carry three bikes on the passenger side (with lolo racks) and Flatline boxes on the drivers side. Install was easy and the instructions are really good. I love the license plate relocation bracket with light to keep it legal. They look great, they are extremely well built, and shipping was very fast as advertised too. All in all no regrets.

A couple tips I found helpful on installation:

I marked the drill point using the paper template/marker, but I mounted the platform to the door hinges and double checked alignment before drilling. This helped me really ensure the drill hole was precise.

The limit strap screw sizes provided were the wrong size (perhaps changed with 2023+ redesign promoter), but that was an easy fix at the local hardware store.

Excellent Product

This is a great addition to my van. Installation was easy. I added a storage box, which installed perfectly to the platform. Thanks for great products.
