The Safari Rack is designed and built to last the lifetime of your Sprinter van. Details like the laser-cut decking make it easy to mount up Maxxtrax, Cargo Boxes, Solar Panels, and even a RoofNest tent. It also gives you a stable platform for catching the sunset from the roof of your adventure van.
The Safari Rack is extremely versatile and designed to accommodate lights and an awning. Mount up a Fiamma F45S (brackets included) for protection from the sun or rain if you live in the PNW like us and add lights or a light bar to brighten up the trails at night.
Unlike other companies, we stock our products and have live inventory on our website. In stock Safari Racks ship within 1-2 business days for free - no hidden fees or extra charges after checkout.
The Safari Rack ships via freight, so we highly recommend having a forklift or friends ready when it arrives. If you don’t have that option, we recommend visiting our Certified Installer page and setting up delivery and installation through them.
Got the Safari rack installed on my 2019 Sprinter Passenger 4x4, got it fitted with the factory AC and worked great.
Quality build and the perforations for the anchors are brilliant.
No better Safari rack in the market.
Thanks, Christian! It's awesome to hear you were able to take advantage of those features!
As of today I have no received the rack
Havent gotten to install my safari rack yet, but it was delivered to my door, days after ordering. Exactly the look I wanted. Sturdy, quality, and legit. When I called to speak to them at the shop, they invited me to come down since I was in the area. Showed me all their products and super nice, helpful people. Will buy more products from them upon delivery of my 2021 sprinter.
This rack is strong and looks sharp on the roof of my van. My kids love sitting on top of it and letting all the people around know they are on the roof of a van. Beware to others that the shipping crate was listed as 600 lbs. We used a fork lift with short tines to pull it out of the delivery truck and then lowered it as the truck lowered their gate. Once on the ground we dragged it around in the crate. To install, we came in from the side and used some tie down straps to strap from one side and back to the fork lift, then raised it over the van. Due to the short tines, i had to pull the rack towards me a bit as the forklift backed off the rack. I used lots of cardboard to protect the van and the rack from the forklift. Otherwise, it only took a couple hours to cut the hole (a jigsaw, sawzall, or cutting wheel all work. maybe a circular saw too), attach the feet and install onto the roof. Russel was very quick to respond when I had questions about the shipment. Thanks, FVCO for the in stock rack and crazy fast shipping, and thank you to Russel for the tips and quick responses!
