Transit Aluminum Side Steps

The Transit Aluminum Side Steps are a lightweight alternative to our original steel Transit Side Steps, built primarily from aluminum to keep weight to a minimum. Made for 2015+ Ford Transit 148" vans in any roof height, they lower the first step so getting in and out of the van takes less effort, especially on lifted vans.

The tread has a no-slip surface with oval dimples that match our ladders, giving you reliable traction in all conditions, including rain, snow, and mud. The steps are made from 5mm aluminum with stainless steel brackets, and the whole assembly is finished in a black powder coat that stands up to the elements.

All mounting hardware is included. Installation takes about 3 hours, requires drilling but no cutting, and needs two people. If your van has an underbody water tank, these steps are only made to work with the S&B 20-gallon passenger side (10-3015) and 22-gallon driver side (10-3016) undercarriage fresh and grey water tanks for the 148" Transit. NW Conversions water tanks are not compatible because they use the same mounting locations as the steps.
