Sprinter Van Dash Mount

Although the mount was a little pricey, the quality and utility of it was worth it. Installation was a breeze, but does require some disassembly of the dash information center…this was made easier, by using a nylon tool designed to remove interior trim pieces that can be purchased at the local auto parts store, and are really inexpensive…for the price of the dash mount, it should be included in the box at no additional cost ( my only critique). The mount is top quality, with a slot to run all the cables through, I like not having charging cables all over the place. The bracket fits solidly in place and doesn’t move, I have mounted my Phone, GPS, and GoPro to it which puts accessibility to all three at your fingertips, without fumbling around.

I looked at everything I could find for the sprinter accessory mounts and selected yours. The simple install and only having to drill two holes in the plastic bezel sold me on it. The install was a bit fiddley especially getting off the factory front face plate. I actually started removing it and was getting a bit frustrated. I decided to walk away for a couple of hours before finally getting it off. Good news is I didn’t damage anything in the process. I really like the clean look, nice product. BTW the part kit came with a 3mm Allen key, the bolts work better with a 1/8 Allen.

Sprinter Van Dash Mount

The product is great and I really like the location of all the devices you can attach to it versus other mounts that locate your devices beneath the radio control panel. For my setup I ended using iPhone and GoPro mounts from bulletpoint and love it! Locating it above the radio you will want to use the power in the center dash compartment and you will probably need the accessory that allows numerous cables to pass through it and to still close the center compartment door/cover. Without it, 3 usb cables and you won’t be able to keep the cover closed and latched.
