Sprinter 170 Van Conversion Layouts
Floor Plan 1: Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 170" High Roof Cargo Van
Should you bring along all your gear or free up some more elbow room in your Sprinter van? It’s the dilemma that confronts us all. Fortunately, you don’t have to sacrifice either with this camper van floor plan.
This Sprinter van features a large 41” galley and living area that offers plenty of space for cooking and hanging out with friends. For storage, 3x 48” Upper Cabinets, a 36” Open Face Upper Cabinet, and the handy Headliner Shelf at the front of the camper van provide all the space you need for clothes, bedding, and climbing equipment.
When it comes to larger gear, like bikes and boards, you can throw everything in the under-bed Pull Out Tray system. And don’t forget about the nifty Step Extension that helps you stow away shoes and other miscellaneous equipment keeping your van interior nice and tidy.

If you want it all, this is the Sprinter 170 layout for you. Storage – check. Creature comforts – check. Space maximization – check.
Overhead storage is abundant in this Sprinter van, with 3x 48” Upper Cabinets, an extra 24” Upper cabinet, and the Headliner Shelf. Under the sturdy 3-Panel Bed System in the garage area, you have plenty of room to store your equipment in the easy-to-access Pull Out Tray.
A large 41” Galley gives you more than enough space to prepare full meals inside the van. And, most importantly, there’s still room for a toilet and a shower. What more could you ask for?

Planning an adventure for the whole family? The more, the merrier! This Sprinter van layout offers comfortable seating and sleeping for four.
Comfort is prioritized with a shower/bathroom combo and a large 41” galley for preparing family dinners. Even with the extra beds, you’ll still have room in your camper for all your adventure gear, thanks to the Pull Out Tray. Stow other odds and ends in the 48” Upper Cabinet, Headliner Shelf, and under the Step Extension. Family road trips have never been better.

Sprinter 170 Van Conversion Layouts - with Flarespace Flares
Floor Plan 1: Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 170" High Roof Cargo Van with Flarespace Flares
This 170 camper van layout optimizes your interior for storage and comfort. It’s the best of both worlds. Thanks to the FVC Flarespace compatible bed system, you can include a bathroom with a shower and still have some extra room for spreading out.
Store all your lighter gear in the 3x 48” Upper Cabinets and Headliner Shelf. For the rest of your serious toys, you have the Pull Out Tray. It makes accessing bikes and other bulky equipment a breeze. Finally, a 41” Galley with room for a fridge and sink rounds out this well-balanced floor plan.

Floor Plan 2: Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 170" High Roof Cargo Van with Flarespace Flares
Wide-open spaces. Breathing room. Full-body stretches. Yes, it’s all possible in a Sprinter van, thanks to this layout.
Some of us adventure van fanatics don’t want to cram gear into every nook and cranny. Especially when you’re out on the road for a while, a little extra space goes a long way.
This floorplan relies on the sideways-sleeping Flarespace bed system to free up the living area. The 41” Galley is large enough for complete meal prep, so you can stop hitting the drive-through. To round it all out, you should still have more than enough storage space for gear with multiple Upper Cabinets and a convenient Pull Out Tray.

Floor Plan 3: Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 170" High Roof Cargo Van with Flarespace Flares
Here’s a well-rounded, balanced camper van layout that does it all without feeling crowded. The Flarespace Bed System offers space-optimizing sideways sleeping so that you can fit in the 41” Galley for a fridge and sink and still have room for the toilet/shower combo.
There’s plenty of storage space too. The 2x 48” Upper Cabinets, a 36” Open Face Upper Cabinet, and Headliner Shelf should hold all your essentials with ease. That’s still not enough? Everything else in your Sprinter van can go in the Pull Out tray and under the Step Extension. You’d be hard-pressed to find a flaw with this Sprinter floor plan.

Been designing a layout and I don’t know if what I want would fit in a 170" Sprinter with extra high roof:
A queen size platform bed (underneath garage storage with pull out drawers), L-Shaped sofa next to the bed with in-built dog crates (with pull out table underneath the bed), L-shaped kitchen that features a single sink and a camping two-burner and oven (with flip-up worktop between the seats upfront so you can step inside the van using the hidden toilet underneath as a step).
Do you think I might need to do an extended sprinter in order to fit it all in, or would a normal 170" be suitable?
